Boxford Playing Fields were purchased on behalf of the village by Boxford Community Council in 1967. It consists of a cricket pitch, two tennis courts, a children’s playground, 3 football pitches, a car park and a pavilion. The fields are a favourite with local dog walkers.
Both the Playing Field and the pavilion are available for hire for events.
The newly refurbished pavilion is ideal for small parties, meetings and as a centre for larger events on the field. We would be happy to show you round and see:
- The meeting/party room, which has tables and chairs to seat up to 40
- A kitchen with crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, refrigerator, freezer, kettles, urns (on request), a cooker with oven and hob
- Two WCs and showers
- Heating
- Changing rooms

RATES: £7.00 per hour for the use of the pavilion before 6.00 p.m.
£8.00 per hour in the evening/night
