DESCRIPTION:Ashley Cooper \nMemories from the Sudbury/Hadleigh area\, researched by local historian and master story teller Ashley Cooper\, of Gestingthorpe Roman Villa and Natural History fame. \nWe put on about ten local history talks or other events each year on a wide variety of historical subjects we believe will be of interest to members and non members alike. Our talks are generally held in our lovely Edwardian reading room – The Parish Room – in Church Road Little Waldingfield on Wednesday evenings\, commencing 7.30 pm\, or will be clearly flagged if to be held elsewhere. \nCurrent prices for our regular talks are £2.00 for members and £4.00 for non-members\, which gets you: \n\nEntry to a great talk\, typically of an hours duration;\nTea or coffee plus biscuits after; and\nAccess to what has become a great social gathering bringing friends\, neighbours and colleagues together.\n\nYou won’t know what you’ve missed until you come along! \n
