Lantern Making Workshops

Boxford Fireworks will be held on Saturday 29th October. The event starts with a parade of illuminated lanterns processing from The White Hart car park to the playing fields. The procession leaves the White Hart at 6:30pm. The lanterns for the procession are made in craft workshop sessions at Boxford Spinney during the week leading up to the fireworks. This year’s sessions are as follows: Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd October – Formal Workshop This is a formal (over-14s only) 2 day workshop to make large parade lanterns that will impress spectators and be the envy of your friends. We recommend a team of at least two and no more than four (this is just a guide, you will need enough people to carry your lantern). If you wish to make a larger lantern, it is essential that you book into this workshop. Boxford Fireworks Display & Lantern Parade 2021

This year's fireworks display is on Saturday October 30th. The Lantern Parade starts at 6:30pm from the centre of the village. The fireworks display starts at 7:45pm on the Playing Fields. Lantern display, BBQ, Licensed bar, Candy floss and Children's rides. Advance Tickets: Adults £5 Children £3 Gate Prices: Adults £6 Children £4 Children under 3 go free! Lantern making will be taking place throughout half-term in the scout hut (The Spinney). From Saturday 23rd October to Thursday 28th October. 10am to 4pm each day.
